"Still life compositions can be categoried impressionist, sharp focus realism or even abstract.  My approach encompases the first two styles and I enjoy both tremendously.  A painting which  groups a selection of common objects in a simple setting can delight a viewer or tell a story.  Arrangement planning and drawing accuracy are essential to achieve good results."
